You can see the battery level on your app. We recommend changing the battery when the app shows around 10% of battery left.

The device is signed to shut off automatically when not using to unlock.

If you still manage to run out of battery while being locked (honestly, it would be your stupidity/recklessness) then you can remove the cage by breaking it.
